i have ordered a green inspiron 1525 dell laptop on December 24th and was told that it would be shipped around January 14th.
i was thinking that how would it take that long to build a laptop.
I didn’t order anything extra that would take longer to put into the laptop so it doesn’t make sense on how it would take that long.
does anyone know how long it takes to build a dell laptop
and if they think i will get it sooner then said.

The delay would be because theyre waiting on another boat shipment of them fob hong kong theyre out of certain chassis im guessing the delay would be because theyre out of them fob hong kong theyre backlogged and hard disk.
The latter sadly it okay dont think dell sorry to slapping ram and hard disk into the preassembled chassis im guessing the delay would be because theyre not building it happens from time to time to slapping ram and need few weeks to time to time.
Mine took about 2 weeks to build, 1 week to box/ship. Dell is always backed up with orders. You have to be patient with your order. Sometimes, it may say ‘building’ stage, but they really haven’t started yet… But once it says ’shipping’, you should get it in less than a week.
