I am looking for Info on Acer and Dell Laptops. Acer Aspire 5050 AMD Powered as opposed to the Dell 1501, AMD powered. What are some strengths and weaknesses on both sides, I am having trouble finding reviews on either. I am strapped for cash and want to maximize my money. Thanks for any help and Input.

Those are the specs. I am looking to spend no more than 700 dollars, without having to deal with ridiculous rebates. I have a dell desktop that I am pretty satisfied with. I am plenty computer literate I am just having trouble turning up info on Acer laptops.
